The Kinnaur Kailasha is a mountain in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The Kinnaur Kailash has a height of 6050 meters and is considered as a sacred abode of Lord Shiva & holds great religious significance. This 79 ft tall Shivalinga, which changes colours every second is located at an altitude of around 4500 meters. Close by is Parvati Kund, which is located at an altitude of 14900 ft above sea level. One of the most challenging treks in the Indian Himalayan region, the Kinner Kailash Parikrama trek takes you into a deep wilderness of Kinnaur region in Himachal Pradesh. This is absolutely fascinating but very risky one and not easily permitted unless people who are fit & well trained in mountaineering.
