Sandhi-Splitter is a computional tool which shows all possible splittings of a given Sanskrit string. The search can be restricted to either splittings between words(पदच्छेदः) or splitting the components of a compound word (समासच्छेदः). For example, the string ग्राममागच्छ consists of two words ग्रामम् and आगच्छ, whereas the string सर्वेन्द्रियम् consists of two components सर्व and इन्द्रियम्. In case you know that the string is a compound, you may guide the machine to split it only as a compound (समासच्छेदः). If you know that given string consists of more than two words, then you may choose the पदच्छेदः option. In case you are unsure, choose उभयोरपि.
In case more than one way of splitting is possible, machine ranks them according to the probabilities. The detailed description of how the splits are ranked is available here. Only the most probable is displayed as a result, and other splits are available on demand. Machine also shows the morphological analysis of each of the components, when a mouse is placed over the word.
